This Irish hook, also known as Hartman, is a 4mm small/medium sized hook with a pencil handle.  The brass harpoon style hook is a personal favorite for both finer and medium size strips.  Select you choice of a short or long shank.  Image shows the short shank.   The beautiful wooden handle is smooth and feels comfortable in the hand.  Hooks like a dream.
