I love the fall season. As a child I loved getting my new school supplies. It was a fresh start with lots of possibilities. It feels the same in the studio at this time of the year. The summer activities are winding down and we start to plan our new rug hooking projects for the days and nights we will be spending indoors. The days start getting cooler and we find comfort in surrounding ourselves with our wool. If you find your stash is running low, new wool has arrived and more is on the way.

Ive also designed a new pattern named “Debra”. It was inspired by a friend who wanted to hook a blue and cream floral rug for her bedroom. She did a fantastic job! Hooking a monochromatic rug can be challenging. Bravo Debbie Pirtovsek! This pattern is now available on the pattern pages.
