I know, I know…summer has just begun. The last thing we want to think about is winter. However, its never to early to start planning and hooking Christmas themed projects. I’m pleased to present the new holiday cushion collection which are now available as patterns. The two large red and cream cushions are inspired by Nordic style knitting and I have named them Nordic I and Nordic II. These are a great size at 20×20 which are perfect for large overstuffed arm chairs and sofas. The rectangular cushions are Prancer and Holiday Poinsetta. These were designed to complement the Nordic cushions but would also look great on their own. All of these projects hook up quickly and easily and are perfect to take along on your travels. Changing the colour palette on the Nordic’s will create cushions that can be used all year long. I can see these done in blues and creams or olive and beige or even reverse the colour placement….so many possibilities. All of these are now on the website pattern pages.
Also new to the patterns collection is Emporer’s Garden. Another pattern designed by my daughter Carla. It is a good size runner at 16×40. She has given me a number of sketches which I need to transfer to usable sizes and will be added to the site soon. I love these as they have a youthful, fresh feel about them.
