Introducing: Jessica Steponaitis Rug Hooking Patterns

We are pleased to introduce the Jessica Steponaitis collection of rug hooking patterns…a studio exclusive.

Jess is a contemporary folk artist who has been passionately designing and crafting hooked rugs in her home province of Nova Scotia since 2002.  She finds inspiration in the colorful fishing villages and the unique folk art and culture of this beautiful Maritime province.  Through bold use of colour and stylized composition, Jess creates designs best described as folk art meets pop art. Her rugs have been exhibited in Halifax and her work is found in many private collections.

These designs are suitable for novices and experienced rug hookers alike.  All our patterns are hand drawn on linen and straight on the grain with a minimum of a 4” allowance beyond the edge of the pattern so that they fit easily into a hoop.  Your pattern will also include a full colour image of Jessica’s original work.
See more of Jess’ work on her instagram page @rughookerjess.     These are now all on the website.  Click here for sizes and prices….
