Attendance at the Woodstock Fleece Festival yesterday proved that fiber art is more popular than ever. Luckily I quickly toured the vendors before the doors opened because after that, the crowds filled the aisles and I never left my booth. Rug hooking, knitting, spinning, weaving, felting and I’m sure others that I missed were all well represented. Every booth was bursting with colour and one couldn’t resist touching the luscious fibers. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to take any photos again this year. However, I would like to share these photos of two mats designed by Sarah Skrlj which I hooked recently. These were on display at the show and attracted many new rug hookers. Both are available on the pattern pages under “Sarah Skrlj Designs”.
The Work Sock Moose kits sold out within the first couple of hours and I had
many requests for more. I’m pleased to say that they are now available on the website as patterns only or a complete kit. I will be adding pillow sized patterns and possibly runners and rugs in this motif. Thank you to everyone that stopped by my booth and the organizers of this fabulous and successful event.
