It’s difficult to ignore the approaching fall season when temperatures in the morning are at just 10 degrees. Mornings and evenings here in Caledon are nudging out summer. I can’t complain as I love everything associated with autumn….sweater weather, changing leaves, crisp air, back to school and the anticipation of the coming holidays. Our trees are already starting to change and will soon be in full colour which inspires fall themed projects. I’ve designed a couple of new pumpkin patterns which I can’t wait to see hooked. Fall also ushers in the return of rug hooking events. Two that come to mind are the Woodstock Fleece Festival and the Neilson Park Gathering which are happening in October. I will get all my information together and post details very soon.
